Math and Science Camp for Girls
Welcome to Summer Days!
Celebrating its 15th year, Summer Days Math and Science Camp for Girls is an educational experience created for young women interested in math and science. Each one week session is designed to accommodate students planning to enter 5th - 9th grade in the fall, who have different backgrounds and level of skill, and who all share a common enthusiasm for math and science. Our goal is to improve their confidence, strengthen their skills, and have fun while learning about possible careers in these fields.
Over the course of each week, students will have fun while at the same time learn how math and science apply to everyday life. Working alongside local women scientists and mathematicians, students will pursue projects in areas such as archeology, and banking. Sharing a week with others with the same interests, students will grow to understand the possibilities for college and beyond, and believe more fully in themselves.
